Hiking, Biking and Nature Trails
Short Ozark trails scattered around town, close to parks, golf and dining.
We've got some great hiking trails at Fairfield Bay. Scattered around the city and many close to parks, golf courses and dining, these trails remind us daily of the natural beauty that is part of life in the Bay. Easy to moderate in nature, these shorter trails are perfect for a simple family outing or a short respite from a busy day.
Ed Leamon Garden Trail
A gardener's delight — this little oasis in the middle of town is home to rose gardens and butterfly gardens. Developed by Van Buren County master gardeners, you can wander or sit in the shade and enjoy it.
Woodland Mead Park Trail
Starting at the amphitheatre, an easy walk through woodland and open meadow.
Sugar Loaf Mountain Island Trail
Reached by shuttle from the Fairfield Bay Marina — the only shuttle in the world to the only island trail in Arkansas.
Trail maps are available from the Chamber office, on AllTrails, and as a printed brochure.
